When you are traveling to the fishing grounds, you should keep your electric deep drop reel out of the direct salt spray.

On some boats you can keep them below deck or in the cabin anywhere to get away from saltwater trying to get inside the reel.

Some boats do not have dry storage.

We have contracted to have reel covers made that will fit a Kristal Reel and a Lindgren LP S-1200.

This is not a waterproof cover for your reel, but it will keep the spray from getting inside the reel.

It will also keep the sun off your reel and line, while you are trolling or bottom fishing and the reel is not in use.

This cover is Made of PVC Coated Nylon and 3MM Neoprene. Fits snug so it won’t blow off.
